Live Stream Link and Bulletin for October 17 – Be Careful What You Ask For
Susan Murray’s sermon, Be Careful What You Ask For, will be based on Mark 10:35-45. We will also be hearing from Lyndsey Harris about Russell House. Announcements:
- The Presbytery has changed the deadline for the Emergency Covid Grant to November 1. If you are going to make a donation for Russell House, please do it before October 31. Remember this is the grant that matches $2 for every $1 donated.
- The JCPDA is requesting Blue Bucket Brigade donations. Since gathering the items and getting them to Springfield continues to be difficult, Outreach Committee is asking for monetary donations again this year. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
- First Friday Out will be November 5 at Kensington, starting at 5:30 with food delivered at 6:00. It will be catered by Bandana’s. Please talk with Javier Valentín-Sívico to make your selections and pre-pay for your meal ($10).

Wow, the weather looks great for our bonfire at Whitakers this Friday, Oct 1! (Remember, First Friday social.) Please bring chairs, your own food, or hot dogs to roast, and your drink choice. We will have plates, napkins, cutlery, buns, and condiments. You may also bring a dish to share if you want. Come about 5 or later. We will cook around 6.
