PENTECOST! Please join us this Sunday as we worship God and celebrate the birth of the Christian Church. WEAR RED! Ming Leu will be preaching, “Life Transformation by the Holy Spirit,” based on Acts 2:1-21.

After worship, we will have a picnic at Lions Club Park, Pavilion #8, to celebrate the birth of the Church, starting around 11:30 a.m.
Pentecost is also the day of one of the PC(USA) special offerings. The Pentecost Offering is used for children and youth programs. We will receive 40 percent of the total to use in our community. This will be given to CASA. There are envelopes on the table at the entrance of the church.

As a reminder, the Rolla Choral Arts Society has its spring concert, “Kaleidoscope of Sound,” in our sanctuary this weekend: Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 3 pm.

Thursday, April 17, is Maundy Thursday. We will gather in the chapel for a service at 6 pm that will include communion, and then turn towards the darkness of Good Friday.
Next Sunday, April 20, is Easter. After worship, we will gather in the fellowship hall for brunch. Details to come.
This week, we wrap up our collection for the Easter Basket of Hope. This week’s item is personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, tooth paste, razors, deodorant, feminine hygiene products). If you have any other items from previous weeks, feel free to bring those as well.
We are also near the end of our collection for the One Great Hour of Sharing, which supports the Presbyterian Hunger Program, Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People, and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
