Meet Them Where They Are – Bulletin, Live Stream, Announcements for February 4, 2024
Let us worship together this Sunday, February 4, at 9:45 am. Jonathan Kimball’s sermon, “Meet Them Where They Are,” will be based on 1 Corinthians 9:16-23 and Mark 1:29-39. We will also celebrate communion.

A few announcements:
- Game night is TONIGHT, February 2, in the fellowship hall. We will take a head count at 6 pm for pizza. Bring a game to share. Water will be provided, so bring other drinks if you like.
- The Session is offering blue hymnals (that is, The Presbyterian Hymnal (1990)) to the congregation.
- We will be collecting a special offering on Souper Bowl Sunday, February 11. Proceeds will support the Friday Backpack program.

Christmas Eve Bulletin, Live Stream, and Announcements – December 24, 2023
We will be gathering for worship twice on December 24, 2023. First, we will have our normal morning worship at 9:45 am for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. We continue to collect the Christmas Joy offering. It is one of the Presbyterian Special Offerings. This offering provides critical financial assistance to church workers and their families in their time of need. The offering also provides educational opportunities and leadership development at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. There are envelopes on the table at the entrance of the sanctuary.
With the passing of the Longest Night, each day gets a little longer, reminding us that Jesus’s birth brought light to the world. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.” And will not. Join us this Sunday to celebrate this coming of the Light into the world.
Festival of Lessons and Carols – Christmas Cantata – December 17, 2023
Please join us this Sunday at 9:45 am for our Christmas cantata, Festival of Lessons and Carols, by Jonathan Willcocks. The composer has often melded two carols together, creating an imaginative new texture for both. All are welcome to stay after worship for a carry-in luncheon.

- Presbyterian Women are hosting tea & cookies at 10 am on Saturday, December 16.
- RCAS concert, Season of Light, is Saturday (12/16) at 7 pm and Sunday (12/17) at 3 pm. Tickets are $10.
Change Your Heart – Bulletin, Live Stream, and Announcements for December 10, 2023
Let us worship together this Second Sunday of Advent to prepare for Christ coming into our hearts. Jonathan Kimball will be preaching, “Change Your Heart,” based on Mark 1:1-8.

- December 16 at 10 am, the Presbyterian Women are hosting Coffee, Tea, and Cookies.
- December 16 at 7 pm and December 17 at 3 pm, the Rolla Choral Arts Society will hold its concert, Season of Light, in the sanctuary. Tickets are $10, in advance or at the door.
- December 17 in worship, the Chancel Choir will present its cantata, Festival of Lessons and Carols by Jonathan Willcocks.
- December 17 after worship, we will hold a carry-in luncheon in the fellowship hall. All are welcome to stay.
