Interfaith Dialogue

Campus Ministries Association is holding an Interfaith Dialogue on April 16 at 6 pm in the Carver-Turner room at the Havener Center. It is open to both the campus and the community. It is an opportunity to discuss faith issues with Christians, Muslims, atheists, and others, in a friendly environment.

Chess Blitz!

On Wednesday, April 18, at 7 pm, Common Call Campus Ministry is hosting a speed chess event. It will be held in the Ozark Room at the Havener Center. The goal is to foster fellowship between the sponsoring churches (First Presby, Christ Episcopal, and Hope Lutheran) and students on campus. Feel free to join us, especially if you enjoy playing chess.

The title of Reverend Lou Ellen Hartley’s sermon for the week of April 15, 2017 is    Things We Say at the Table based on scriptures from Psalm 4; I John 3:1-7 and Luke 24:36b – 48.  The hymns for Sunday are Christ Is Alive; Be Thou My Vision; and Let Us Talents and Tongues Employ.

Worship begins at 9:45 am, followed by fellowship and education at 11:00 a.m.  Our church provides a Nursery during worship service.  First Presbyterian Church is located at 919 E. Tenth Street in Rolla.  Our website is www.rollapresby.org.

Our informal worship service, FIRED UP! is held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Sadler Chapel followed by Dinner and Discipleship training at 7:15 pm at Panera Bread.

The title of Reverend Lou Ellen Hartley’s sermon for the week of April 08, 2018 is Christ is Risen based on scriptures from I John 1:1-2:2 and John 20:19-31. The hymns for Sunday are That Easter Day with Joy Was Bright; Behold the Goodness of Our Lord and Go, My Children with My Blessing.

Worship begins at 9:45 am, followed by fellowship and education at 11:00 a.m.  Our church provides a Nursery during worship service.  First Presbyterian Church is located at 919 E. Tenth Street in Rolla.  Our website is www.rollapresby.org.

Our informal worship service, FIRED UP! is held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Sadler Chapel followed by Dinner and Discipleship training on April 12 at 7:15 pm at  Los Arcos Restaurant.

The Presbyterian Women’s Spring Gathering and general meeting are scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall.  A salad lunch will be provided by the PW Board.

The RCAS will present a concert on Sunday, April 29 at 3 pm in the Sanctuary.
