The title of Reverend Lou Ellen Hartley’s sermon for the week of August 30, 2015 is Pure Religion Looks Like This? based on scriptures from Mark 7: 1-8, 14-15, 21-23 and James 1: 17-27.  The hymns for Sunday are I Come with Joy; All Creatures of Our God and King; Today We All Are Called to Be Disciples; and Lord, Make Us Servants of Your Peace.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a new weekly Bible Study on Mondays at 10 am in the Sadler Lounge.

Besides a lunch at noon on Thursday, August 27^th, plans for Presbytery Day include an opportunity to learn more about John Calvin Presbytery and the Presbyterian Church (USA) from Rev. Melana Scruggs in the Sadler Lounge at 10:30 am.

Reservations for the catered meal for Presbytery Day held at our church on August 27 need to be made by Wednesday, August 19th.  Please plan to attend.  Sign up either by email or on the sign up sheet outside the office on the bulletin board.

The regularly scheduled Session meeting scheduled for Monday, August 17 has been postponed until Monday, August 31st at 7:00 pm.
