The title of Reverend Bob Morrison’s sermon for the week of April 19, 2015 is The Power of Grace based on scriptures from Romans 5: 1-5. The hymns for Sunday are All People That on Earth Do Dwell; Come, Holy Spirit, Heavenly Dove; and Good Christians All Rejoice and Sing.

Memorial Bricks: During the next month or two, if you wish, you may place an order for a Memorial Brick in memory of a church member, family member, or friend. The cost of a brick is $100, part of which pays for maintenance of the Garden. Please contact Cynthia or Betti Jo in the church office if you wish to purchase a brick.
The Mission Committee is beginning a new program called “30” Minute Friend to assist individuals with tasks that might be difficult to do. A team of two or three members will schedule a time to help individuals with things such as organizing, light maintenance, cleaning, yard work, etc.
The program will begin in April after Easter Sunday. If you have work requests or you would be willing to be a member of a team, please contact the church office at 573-364-3852.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 2 to join friends and family to attend the Cardinals vs Brewers game in St. Louis. Bus will leave the parking lot at 4 p.m. for a 7:15 p.m. game. Cost is $40 which includes bus ride, bag meal and your ticket. Contact Britt Whitaker or Nancy Marlow for tickets. Please pay at the time you order your ticket.
The all church picnic planned for May 17 after worship at Ber Juan pavilion has been postponed. Plans are to reschedule when our new pastor arrives.

Spring Progressive Dinner
The progressive dinner scheduled for April 10 has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
We will instead meet at 5:30 p.m. at Penelopes Restaurant. Come and join us.
Church Picnic – May 17, 2015
The picnic has been postponed at this time due to so many from membership being out of town. We will probably reschedule it when we welcome our new pastor.
