Preached by Rev. John Oerter.  Based on John 1: 1-5, 10-12, 18.

Game Night is Sunday, January 12, 2014

Our January event is Game night on January 12, with January 26 as the snow out alternative.  We will gather at 4:30, count noses, order pizza, and plan to eat by 5:45 or earlier.  Please consider bringing a snack to share and your favorite game.  We will provide the drinks and service ware.  This is a great event to come to if you do not care to eat the meal, since coming at 6 still provides plenty of time for fun and fellowship.

The Mission Committee will collect white paper goods for the Russell House during the month of January.  A box will be placed in the foyer.  Items include paper towels, toilet tissue, napkins and Kleenex.

Membership Committee is seeking a few new members and folks to sign up for the next several months of Fellowship.  A box of crackers and a bag of cookies plus coffee and a cold drink are all we really need.

Please look at the display boards on either side of the office.  The large one is an interactive display in which you can write your dream for our family.  The Jesse Tree is also still up for children, young and old, to write the name from the Lineage list and place it on the tree.  This tree reminds of Jesus’ humanity, His connected heritage through history and spiritually to us, and our calling to become part of God’s family.
