The title of Pastor John Oerter’s sermon for the week of September 08, 2013 is It’s so Wonderful based on scriptures from Luke 14: 25-28, 33.  The hymns for Sunday are I Danced in the Morning and I’m Gonna Live So God Can Use Me.

Sunday school is every Sunday at 11:00 am.  We offer a variety of classes for all age groups.

Health Kits are being assembled for the Festival of Sharing.  The kits can be placed in the box in the foyer between now and October 12.  Items to be included in the kits are listed in the bulletin and on the web page.

A town hall meeting and luncheon will be held after worship on September 22 in the Fellowship Hall. Mark your calendars for this important date and plan to attend.  We will be discussing our next step in our interim work and future plans.

The Presbyterian Women’s Fall General meeting and coffee with pastries is scheduled for September 14 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.

The Presbyterian Women’s annual rummage sale is scheduled for October 5.  Donations will be accepted on October 3 from 4-6 pm.  For more information, contact Christine Rueff at 364-7603 or any of the ladies in Circle IV.

We’re holding a Play Ground Work Project on Saturday, August 31 from 10:00 am to ?.  Please bring your rakes, shovels, buckets and wheel barrows.  Points of contact are Larry Roberts [364-2841] and Candace Ludden [201-9619].

August 25 is the children’s swim party at the Cottinghams’ from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.

Sunday, September 8^th is Sunday School kick-off.  We will also be honoring our 50 year members followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall. Sign up board is in the hallway across from the office.
