1. The combined choirs of First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church are singing the anthem this Sunday, along with Derek Limback on trumpet. We thank all of them for sharing their talents with us.

2. Next Sunday, May 24, is Pentecost. Please wear RED for Pentecost to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit.

During the season of Pentecost we participate in the PCUSA Pentecost Special Offering. This offering supports children at risk, youth, and young adults. It funds ministries that provide education, leadership development, and service opportunities. 40% of what we collect stays in our community and will go to our community’s Backpack Program. The Phelps County National Day of Prayer Service in Song will be held Thursday May 7 at 7:00 p.m. The service will be led by a choir including singers from the Rolla Choral Arts Society, and church choir members from the Phelps county area. Please join us for the special ecumenical service in song.

1. You are invited to the Rolla Choral Arts Society spring concert featuring Eric Whitacres’ Sacred Veil. It is being presented by the Rolla Choral Arts Society, featuring cellist, Benjamin Johnston, and Missouri State University Choral Scholars. Performances are Saturday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 26, at 3:00 p.m.

2. Our First Friday Out in May will be May 1st, 5:30 PM, at Hoppers (downtown Rolla). Please let Kristen or the Church office know that you plan to join us for this time of fellowship. We look forward to seeing you there!

3. The Phelps County National Day of Prayer service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m. Please join us for this ecumenical service of prayer and song. The service will feature a combined choir of RCAS singers, along with church singers and instrumentalists from the surrounding community.
