Announcements:

1. There will be a Game and Pizza Night on February 6th at the Presbyterian Manor. Please let us know your pizza preference. There will be a sign-up sheet at the back of the sanctuary or you can let Javier know.

2. Sunday February 8 is Souper Bowl Sunday. We will be collecting money for GRACE. Two pots, one labelled for each team, will be at the back of the sanctuary. Place any donations in the pot of your choice. All donations will be given to GRACE.

3. Mission and Outreach has chosen to supply Presbyterian Disaster Relief in the form of hygiene kits instead of the disaster buckets. The goal is 30 kits and they are due at the church by February 15th. A sign up sheet for the necessary items is in the entrance to the church. Once items have been collected, we will get together after church one Sunday in February to put the kits together, then enjoy a simple meal together. Monetary gifts are always welcome.

Please join us for worship on January 25, the Third Sunday after Epiphany. Jonathan Kimball will be preaching a sermon titled “The Light of the World” based on our Old Testament Lesson, Isaiah 9:1 – 7.

1.This Sunday we will be installing elders and deacons for 2026. We will also follow the service with a congregation conversation to receive our 2026 budget. Stay tuned if we meet via Zoom.

Visions Anew – Announcements, Bulletin, Live Stream for December 28, 2025

Please join us for worship on the First Sunday of Christmas. The sermon this Sunday is titled “Visions Anew” and tells the meaning of the Christian season of the 12 days of Christmas (Dec 25-Jan 6) that marks the liturgical season celebrating Jesus’ birth to Epiphany. It will be preached from an online series of sermons by Tony De La Rosa who was a ruling elder during the recording of the sermon.

Church Service – Cantata – Holy Light – Sunday, December 14

Please join us for the Christmas Cantata service at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Rolla this Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m. There will be NO service at the First Presbyterian Church.

Our Chancel Choir will be combining with the FUMC Chancel Choir to present the Christmas Cantata, “Holy Light”.

The handicap entrance to the church is located off of Park Street. Enter Park street from 8th Street (by the Post Office). There are no stairs if you use this entrance to get to the sanctuary.

We are pleased to have several guest singers and instrumentalists joining the choir in our service Sunday. They will also perform in the Rolla Choral Arts Society Illuminare concert which will be presented in our church again Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Tickets are available at the door.
