Worship is ON!

As of this writing, at 7 am on January 14, worship will be held in person today. The forecast temperature at the time of worship is -4°F, but the parking lot is plowed, the streets in Rolla are fine, and the heat is working in the sanctuary. All are welcome to join us in person. HOWEVER, IF YOU FEEL UNSAFE venturing out in the cold, please worship with us online: https://youtube.com/live/5imhBp9L1yI?feature=share

If you do venture out, be prepared! God be with you!

We continue to collect the Christmas Joy offering. It is one of the Presbyterian Special Offerings. This offering provides critical financial assistance to church workers and their families in their time of need. The offering also provides educational opportunities and leadership development at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. There are envelopes on the table at the entrance of the sanctuary.

With the passing of the Longest Night, each day gets a little longer, reminding us that Jesus’s birth brought light to the world. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.” And will not. Join us this Sunday to celebrate this coming of the Light into the world.
