Visions Anew – Announcements, Bulletin, Live Stream for December 28, 2025

Please join us for worship on the First Sunday of Christmas. The sermon this Sunday is titled “Visions Anew” and tells the meaning of the Christian season of the 12 days of Christmas (Dec 25-Jan 6) that marks the liturgical season celebrating Jesus’ birth to Epiphany. It will be preached from an online series of sermons by Tony De La Rosa who was a ruling elder during the recording of the sermon.

Church Service – Cantata – Holy Light – Sunday, December 14

Please join us for the Christmas Cantata service at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Rolla this Sunday beginning at 10:00 a.m. There will be NO service at the First Presbyterian Church.

Our Chancel Choir will be combining with the FUMC Chancel Choir to present the Christmas Cantata, “Holy Light”.

The handicap entrance to the church is located off of Park Street. Enter Park street from 8th Street (by the Post Office). There are no stairs if you use this entrance to get to the sanctuary.

1. Next week the Chancel Choir will be combining with the Chancel Choir at First United Methodist Church of Rolla, to present the Christmas Cantata “Holy Light”.  The service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Rolla, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  There will not be a service here at First Presbyterian Church next week.  The handicapped entrance to the church is located off of Park Street.  Enter Park street from 8th Street (by the Post Office). 2. During Advent we will be collecting the Christmas Joy Offering.  This is one of the PCUSA special offerings.  When we give to the Christmas Joy Offering, we prepare the way for the leaders of our Church – past, present and future.  50% of these gifts smooth the path for current and retired church workers and their families in their time of need.  The other 50% prepare students to learn and grow in faith at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.  Envelopes are provided on the table by the church entrance or you can write “Christmas Joy Offering” on the memo line of your check.
